Another glorious day in the corps . . .

I woke up this morning and decided to skip my workout. Big mistake because I didn't workout at lunch time either. But I did get a two mile walk/run at the end of the work day. I finished the two miles in about 25 minutes. At 4 miles per hour I know that's barely a jog, but to actually finish a two mile circuit is pretty good for me. I also did 36 reverse pushups (3x12), 15 pullups (3x5), and 30 dips (3x10).

Work was pretty good today. Not too busy, but not too boring. I finished the shop cabinet inventory I'd started last week. Returned some radios to their rightful owners. Troubleshot a couple of broken portables. Well they weren't really broken. The problem was with an associated piece of equipment. It felt good to get some LMR work done. I always learn something . . . mostly because I know so little, hahaha.

I was about to fill out an application for Border Patrol agent today, but it says that if you are accepted then you need to be available to go to Border Patrol Academy in nine months or less. I'm not ready to make that quick of a move since I'm still investigating a move into Military Intelligence (MI). Speaking of which, I spoke with the gentleman in charge of the MI unit today and got some good insight and encouragement. I have some things to chew on and pray about for the next couple of weeks and then make my decision.

I chatted with Joel and Chad for a little bit tonight.

Also starting Apollyon tonight. It's the fifth book in the Left Behind series.

Take care. YIC.
