Without a trace

I watched the TV show Without A Trace last night. It left me disappointed because there was no closure. I watched the show last week, but don't remember if that episode had the same kind of ending.

Anyway, about last nights episode. Two teenagers were missing. One was kidnapped to be sold for sex, the other was missing after an argument over money. At the end of the show we learn that one is found dead and one is found alive, but we are not told which was alive and which dead. It was like reading a book whose last chapter was never written. What's the point?

If anyone out there watched the show and can fill me in on something I missed I'd appreciate it. If you watch this show and would like to comment about it that would be good too.
