Post 17320: Protest

I respect a persons right to peacefully protest in any way they see fit. However, it should be understood that one must also peacefully accept the consequences of that protest.  If a peoples protest includes disrespect for a flag under which an for which others willing die, or the monuments that commemorate that death, then it should also be understood that the consequences of that protest will be dire.  The majority of the United States of America will not hear your grievance when you disrespect the flag or monuments that commemorate those who sacrificed all they had under it.

A more effective protest, for a group of wealthy and influential people, would take place in Washington D.C on the steps of the Capitol or around the Washington Monument.  Take the protest to the politicians that enable the poor behavior that is being protested. That is something the American people will hear and support.

Let us go forth with a passion that will make Hell gasp!
