First Intermediate Swim Lesson

Last night I had my first intermediate swim class at the YMCA.  It was the most intense workout I've had in years.  My arms and legs were rubbery and felt nauseous for about thirty to forty-five minutes.  The intensity is only partly to blame, however.  Most of the blame is mine.  I ate two few calories for lunch, tried to make up for it with junk calories at 430pm, and drank far too little water during the day.  The result, too little food to nourish my muscles and too little liquid to keep my hydrated.  That is the lesson I will take with me next week.
