Sunday Worship Notes

Todays sermon (the last in the “Discovering God’s Will” series) was given by the Technical Arts Director and focused on Faithfulness.  It was an excellent sermon that taught six things that prove God’s faithfulness and four areas in which we need to be faithful.

Six things that prove God’s faithfullness
  1. The Bible – Matt 24:35
  2. A Rainbow – Gen 9:14-15
  3. The Seasons – Gen 8:22
  4. The Church – Matt 16:18 (it is alive and well)
  5. The Word of God – Isa 55:11
  6. Communion (no scriptural reference given)
Four areas in which we need to be faithful
  1. Relationships – Personal, social, work, etc.
  2. Time (use the time we are given to honor God)
  3. Talents & Abilities (Ours and others, both)
  4. Finances – Your money comes from God, use it as he would want

Introduction

Motto: If Gods wills, failure's no option and mediocrity not acceptable.

Mission: To be the best man I can possibly be, while realizing any good thing I do is of Christ and any bad thing is a result of my inherently sinful nature.

Guiding Scripture: Haven't I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
~Joshua 1:9
