Huh?

They following was written by Gary Mihoces in the Sports section of the USA Today.

The Indianapolis Colts moved on with a 9-0 record after beating the Patriots 35-34 on Peyton Manning's 1-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Reggie Wayne with 13 seconds left. The Patriots (6-3) flew home after a numbing defeat that was summed up in three words by quarterback Tom Brady.
"It was a bummer," said Brady, who threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns.
Now, is 35-34 REALLY a "numbing defeat"? And is "It was a bummer" REALLY three words?
