MSNBC

The only cable news network available in my room is MSNBC and it irritates me to no end.  The misleading and inaccurate reports frustrate me to no end, but I've no other option when I need a quick way to catch up on current events.  When I hear something that borders on propaganda I want to scream out at the TV.  I think, instead, I'll just start posting them here when possible and practical to do so.

For example, they just said that republicans were to blame for national security blunders that caused the 911 attacks.  This because Bush was president at the time.  Hmmm.  Does anyone remember when Bush took to the oval office?  That would be January 2001.  Bush was in office only 9 months.  So, if one where to blame a political party for the security troubles that caused 911 you would have to blame the democratic party since the attack was planned during the Clinton administration.  I'm fairly confident that the attack was executed at the beginning of a new presidential term for a reason and was not coincidental.

For the record I'm an moderate independant and blame only Al Queda for the attack and any security problems where a failure of the U.S. Government not of a particular party.
