Workout Report (2008-08-23)

Perhaps if I post my workouts it will give me something to post every couple of days or so.  It is pretty much the biggest thing I do in my spare time.  That and learning chinese.  Though I'm making progress with the chinese lessons there is nothing worth talking about with its regard.

Today I completed 15.52 miles in 60 minutes on the stationary bike at the gym.  That is a 3.5 min/mile pace with a 15.5 mph avg speed and approximately 500 calories burned.  The intensity was on level 10 and the bike was set to randomly add hills and flats.  My heart-rate peaked at about 180; high but an improvement.  My heart-rate recovery time seems pretty good.  It dropped 10 beats per minute.

Mission: To be the best man I can possibly be, while realizing any good thing I do is of Christ and any bad thing is a result of my inherently sinful nature.

Guiding Scripture: Haven't I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
~Joshua 1:9
