Greasings and Slimey Mutations

Hello all. Its been a while. I'm back to eight hour work days, but work every single day. I work at the Guard base on my Cabela days off. That, and the grace of the Lord, helps make up the shortfall in my income. So life is good.

I don't have internet access at the apartment anymore so please be patient with email replies. I'll get to as many today as I can. After blog updates and IM's and email I have to go up to CompUSA in Manchester to pick up a power supply for my friend Jason. None of the local places here carry the older EIDE power supplies that he needs. Replacing it will probably take a couple of hours as it looks like I'll have to pretty much dismantle the case. Major surgery will be required.

The job at Cabelas is going well. It's nice to have a job with no stress. It gets frustrating, sure, but not stressfull. Since it's not a career move advancement is not a concern to me. A raise would be nice, but I certainly don't want a management positions. Its a good place to get my head straight and figure out what I want to do next.

Plan A is to change my military career field. If that happens, great, I'll go to school and get a civilian job doing that. If I don't get to change then I'll look for a government job doing computer work. Doing computer work for the government would be much, much better than working for a civilian corporation. I would probably not like it, but I could tolerate it.

That's it for now. Moving on to email. Take care.

For faith, fellowship, freedom, family, friends, food, fun, soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and coasties we thank thee o Lord. Amen.
