First triathlon

I'm participating in my first mini-triathlon on Tuesday. It not a serious competition and there are no prizes. More a training type of experience. I'll be happy just to finish. Here are the details. If you are local come on out and watch the action.

Winding Trails Tri-Training Series

The weekly triathlon series will run on Tuesday evenings at Winding Trails. This year's series will consist of a 1/4-mile swim or kayak in Dunning Lake, a 8k trail ride (you must use a hybrid or off-road bike for the biking portion of the race), and a 5K-trail run through our beautiful woods. All ability levels are encouraged to come out and train in this friendly and fun environment.

Date: Tuesdays, June 19th-August 21st

Time: 6:15pm – 8:00pm
Where: Tri Transition area

Kids Tri's
Date: Tuesdays, July 10th, July 31st August 21st
Time: 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Ages: 5 - 6, 7 - 8, 9 - 10, and 11 - 12 year olds
Where: Winding Trails

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Winding Trails is easily accessible from Interstate 84, exit 39 (Route 4, Farmington). Head straight off the exit and travel west on Route 4 for 2.2 miles. Turn right onto Devonwood Drive and then turn left onto Winding Trails Drive.
