First Day

I was greeted at the airport this morning with no lines and no wait. After getting to the gate, however, I realized I forgot my garment bag in my car (which was parked at the base) and it had all my uniforms. Luckily I was able to get in touch with Bill who retrieved the bag and brought it to the airport with plenty of time to spare.

The flight was uneventful. The Budget car rental line was excruciatingly long, but I was in no particular hurry. Since I brought my GPS my hotel (Hawthorne Suites) was easy to find. It is only three miles (give or take) from the airport terminal.

My room is is very nice. Breakfast is free and there is also free cocktails or soda from 530pm to 730pm, and free dinner on Wednesday nights.

I'm looking forward to getting to the worksite tomorrow. It is less than one mile from the hotel.
