Holiday On Main Food Drive

Every year the city of Middletown holds a Holiday On Main where they close Main Street and have certain events like story readings and fashion shows and light the city Christmas tree and such. It start the first Friday after Thanksgiving. This is the second year I have held a food drive during the festival to benefit the local food pantry and soup kitchen whose supplies are depleted after serving their Thanksgiving meal.

Last year I collected between 250 and 300 pounds of food. This year I'm hoping to collect at least 500 pounds of food. I'll post the results as a reply to this article.

I hope the Lord blessed you with a good meal and a pleasent family experiance.
