The Gizmo Project (http://www.gizmoproject.com) seems to be coming along nicely. Gizmo project is a VoIP phone that was bought by Google some time ago and is compatible with Google Talk in as much as the IM feature is concerned. I can't confirm this, but I suspect Gizmo and GTalk will eventually merge into one program.
Speaking of GTalk, one of the things I like about it is the way that it is merged with GMail making it available from any computer without having to install anything. Sure, its not secure, but you have to be crazy transmitting confidential info via IM anyway. Plus, GMail will store the conversation in your mailbox along with your email. Very handy. Considering the importance of security I'm confident Google will secure GTalk in some way.
Good night, and God bless.
Behold, your King is coming to you, lowly, and sitting on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey. —Matthew 21:5
O what can I give to the Master,
The One who from sin set me free?
I’ll give Him a lifetime of service
To thank Him for dying for me. —K. De Haan
