Passover and Easter
This week has been the Jewish celebration of Passover, the remembrance of the delivery of the people of Israel by Moses from the bonds of slavery to Egypt. In the same respect we Christians are celebrating the delivery of the people of the world by Jesus from the bonds of slavery to sin. Perhaps this is why God chose this particular time to sacrifice His son for us.
